This job summary describes the role of a Clinical Database Programmer at Medpace, a global contract research organization (CRO), located in Mumbai, India. The role is full-time and office-based within the Core Labs team, and involves programming and supporting clinical trial databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Database Development and Maintenance: Design, program, validate, and maintain clinical trial databases based on company standards.
  • Data Model Management: Prepare and manage electronic CRFs (Case Report Forms) and editing checks.
  • Programming Support: Serve as the primary programmer contact for the data management team, providing technical support, ensuring programming quality, and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in math, computer science, or a related field).
  • Skills:
    • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a team with data managers, statisticians, and other programmers.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with programming languages like C# and SQL is preferred.
