The Project Data Manager (DAS) is responsible for overseeing and delivering all aspects of data management for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements, and maintaining client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Serve as the primary contact between data management teams and other functions (Project Management, Clinical Monitoring, etc.).
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to data management staff.
  2. Non-CRF Data Management:

    • Strategize and execute non-CRF data protocols.
    • Oversee vendor agreements and ensure data deliverables meet quality standards.
    • Manage patient enrollment systems like IXRS UAT.
  3. Project Oversight:

    • Create, manage, and maintain project documentation and timelines.
    • Monitor progress and resource allocation.
    • Handle financial aspects like revenue recognition and scope changes.
  4. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure compliance with regulations, SOPs, and project milestones.
    • Participate in and prepare for audits.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Deliver training sessions and provide comprehensive project updates.
    • Participate in proposal presentations and cross-functional discussions.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • BA/BS in biological sciences, healthcare, or related fields.
    • Equivalent work experience acceptable.
  • Experience:

    • 8+ years in clinical data management, with at least 4 years in DAS roles.
    • Exposure to CRO operations preferred.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Familiarity with Oracle Clinical, Rave, Inform, and ICH/Good Clinical Practices.
    • Proficient in MS Office and relational database systems.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
