🎯 Role Purpose

As a Clinical Performance Specialist in Bayer’s Radiology Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through expert-level product training and application support. You will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation, clinical adoption, and satisfaction of Bayer’s radiology products across your assigned Central U.S. territory.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Training & Implementation

    • Deliver and execute First Run Yield (FRY) clinical training for Bayer devices and software

    • Ensure training aligns with Bayer implementation standards

    • Promote adoption of new technologies during on-site education

  • Customer Engagement

    • Support the sales process in collaboration with Portfolio Reps, Strategic Account Managers, Inside Sales, and Channel Managers

    • Foster high customer satisfaction through tailored success tactics

    • Provide troubleshooting and support across all Bayer Radiology product models (past and present)

  • Workflow Optimization

    • Develop site-specific implementation plans through workflow analysis

    • Resolve high-priority and escalated clinical issues using independent judgment and clinical knowledge

  • Compliance & Product Expertise

    • Report adverse events/complaints in accordance with Bayer policies

    • Stay current with new and existing product knowledge, including software platforms

    • Participate in special projects as requested


🌎 Territory Coverage

You will manage the Central U.S. territory, including parts of:

  • Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh, Youngstown, Saxonburg, Warrendale

  • Ohio: Cleveland, Columbus (East & West), surrounding areas

  • New York: (Specific regions as assigned)

Candidates must be domiciled within the territory and located within 1 hour of the covered metro areas.


Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant clinical/technical field with 6+ years of experience
    OR
    Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience
    OR
    Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience

  • Certification: Radiologic Technologist (RT) and/or CIIP Certification

  • In-depth understanding of Radiology or IT department workflows

  • Strong communication, customer service, and technical problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight


🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:

    • Bayer/Medrad Injector Systems

    • Radiation dose management software

    • Clinical IT systems and data analytics tools


💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $75,831 – $113,747 (based on location, experience, certifications)

  • Additional Compensation: Bonus or commission (if applicable)
