Job Overview

This role focuses on financial operations within clinical research, specifically managing clinical study payments, invoice processing, and financial analysis activities. The position supports global clinical trials by ensuring accurate and timely payments, handling site inquiries, and maintaining compliance with financial and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Payments & Invoice Processing

  • Process global clinical study invoices in accordance with contractual terms and timelines
  • Validate, review, and route payments accurately
  • Support study budget setup and payment-related activities

Financial Analysis & Reconciliation

  • Conduct payment investigations and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform reconciliation activities in coordination with global teams
  • Assist in financial reporting and month-end activities

Stakeholder Communication

  • Respond to site payment inquiries via shared mailboxes
  • Communicate effectively with global clinical research sites
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical Operations, Data Systems)

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Support audit activities by providing documentation and reports
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and internal guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and clinical data

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or related field

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in finance/accounting
  • 1–2 years of invoicing experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Experience with automated accounting systems
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Preferred: SAP, SQL Server, Reporting Tools
