Job Overview

Accenture is seeking a Clinical Data Services Analyst (SVS) to join its Life Sciences R&D practice in Bengaluru. This role supports global biopharmaceutical clients across clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, regulatory services, and patient-focused solutions.

The position focuses on Clinical Data Management and Clinical Reporting, contributing to high-quality data collection, validation, and reporting activities across the clinical trial lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver clinical trial reports using SAS, J-Review, Cognos, SQL, and PL/SQL as per study requirements

  • Perform clinical data management activities including discrepancy review, query generation, and query resolution

  • Create and maintain CRF Completion Guidelines (CCG) and SAE reconciliation guidelines

  • Identify, document, and escalate protocol deviations within clinical databases

  • Execute edit check validation by developing test cases and test scripts

  • Perform database validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) against defined CRF/eCRF specifications

  • Support clinical data management projects to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data issues and support timely study deliverables


Required Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Clinical Data Management and Clinical Database Programming

  • Hands-on experience with SAS (Clinical), SQL, and PL/SQL

  • Exposure to clinical reporting tools such as J-Review and Cognos

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Adaptability, flexibility, and eagerness to learn new tools and processes

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Graduation in any discipline, BE, or MCA

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Clinical Data Services, Clinical Data Management, or Clinical Reporting

  • Prior experience supporting life sciences or biopharmaceutical projects is preferred

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required


Role Characteristics

  • Individual contributor role with opportunities to support small work efforts or junior team members

  • Regular interaction with internal peers and limited exposure to clients or leadership

  • Moderate supervision for new assignments with minimal guidance for routine tasks

  • Work outputs may influence team-level deliverables and timelines
