Job Title: Medical Data Analyst (MDA)

Department: Delivery

Job Location: Navi Mumbai / Pune

Reporting To: Lead


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Management and Curation:

  • Perform complex data abstraction, including interpretation, and data entry for specified disease and project requirements.
  • Actively participate and contribute to team meetings and learning sessions.
  • Maintain a high level of medical knowledge and expertise in electronic medical records (EMR) and data capture systems.
  • Self-report daily activities, including time spent on records, completed audits, and other assigned reporting tasks, as per Operations and QA management directives.

Quality Assurance:

  • Consistently meet or exceed quality levels outlined in the QA plan for each project (minimum 95% accuracy or higher, as required).
  • Address feedback from Quality Analysts promptly and ensure timely reconciliation of errors.
  • Participate in quarterly inter-rater reliability (IRR) assessments.

Special Projects:

  • Lead or contribute to special projects or client-specific initiatives, as directed by management.

Security Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strict password confidentiality and never share credentials.
  • Ensure systems are locked when not in use to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Avoid using unauthorized applications on work systems.
  • Ensure no Protected Health Information (PHI) is saved on Vasta domain systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in medical disciplines such as BDS, MDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPT, or MD.
  • Experience: 0-5 years of experience in clinical or non-clinical settings.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong medical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, with a presentable and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in handling EMR and related data management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
