About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Analyst to join our Medtech Data team in Bengaluru.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on:
Data analysis & market research (primary & secondary)
Competitive analysis & forecasting
Custom consulting projects in medical devices & healthcare markets
Clarivate’s Medtech Data team leverages real-world healthcare data to identify meaningful insights from large datasets, helping medical device companies make informed business decisions.
About You – Experience, Education & Skills
Hands-on experience handling large datasets using SQL / Python
B.E. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy (preferred)
Strong knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities
Effective communicator, able to explain complex ideas clearly
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (SMEs, product managers, sales leaders, technical experts, analysts)
Solution-oriented with a strong focus on timely execution
Preferred / Good to Have:
Understanding of Medtech data & healthcare domain
Exposure to Medtech or Claims/Pharmacy data
Experience working with data vendors
Proficiency in R/Python for data analysis
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer pain points and act as a problem-solver
Build, mine, and manage datasets for market modelling & analysis
Maintain Medtech product catalogs
Research novel device markets (competitors, applications, product segmentation)
Analyze data outputs for market trends and correct potential errors
Identify opportunities for data analysis and experiments to improve customer value
Collaborate with clients to provide data-driven insights
Contribute ideas to evolve products, data models, and usage strategies
