Job Overview:
Provide programming support as part of the Statistical Programming (SP) team by developing and maintaining programs to meet internal and external clients' needs. Support the development of project-related solutions across a variety of statistical programming tasks.
Essential Functions:
Program, test, and document statistical programs for creating statistical tables and listing summaries.
Program analysis databases (derived datasets) and manage data transfers for internal and external clients.
Program database quality control checks.
Assist in the development of programming documentation including plans and specifications as needed.
Assist in developing, implementing, and validating new process technologies, macros, and applications.
Support project leads in fulfilling project responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Basic knowledge of statistics and/or the clinical drug development process.
Basic knowledge of statistical computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS Macro Language.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Aptitude for mathematical calculations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
