    • Document activities clearly and accurately, both in lab notebooks and in formal technical reports.
  2. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing clear and effective communication of data and findings, both written and oral.
    • Assist in technology transfer activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes are successfully transferred to clinical and commercial facilities.
    • Support troubleshooting during manufacturing campaigns to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Experimentation and Data Analysis:

    • Assist in designing experiments, conducting research, and interpreting results.
    • Provide data evaluations and help to generate solutions for process improvement and optimization.
  4. Laboratory Maintenance:

    • Ensure the laboratory environment is clean and safe, maintaining compliance with safety standards.
    • Support the maintenance of lab equipment and participate in routine checks.
  5. Support and Development:

    • Contribute to developing processes and methods to improve mammalian cell culture and bioreactor operations.
    • Assist with clinical manufacturing activities, occasionally supporting off-shift and weekend work when issues arise.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Biochemical Engineering, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry) with 0-2 years of relevant experience in a biochemical laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with cGLP/cGMP requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and a team-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Competence in aseptic laboratory techniques and the ability to design and interpret complex experiments.
  • Knowledge of mammalian cell culture, bioreactor operations, or WAVE systems would be advantageous.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • The position involves occasional light lifting, and periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Work Schedule and Travel:

  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional off-shift weekend support as needed.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required to support technology development, clinical manufacturing, and technology transfer to commercial facilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual base salary: $54,700 to $91,100.
  • Bonus: Eligible for Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a target of 7.5% of base salary.
  • Benefits: Includes health coverage (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) with matching contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid parental and medical leave, and more.
