Position Summary:

As an Associate Scientist, you will be a key contributor in a fast-paced and integrated research team focused on developing new immuno-oncology therapies. You will design and conduct in vivo and in vitro experiments, analyze pharmacology data, and support the advancement of oncology and immunotherapy research programs.


Key Responsibilities:

🧬 Experimental Design & Execution

  • Plan and conduct in vivo studies including:

    • Tumor inoculation and measurement

    • Drug administration (oral, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, intravenous)

    • Blood and tissue collection

    • Model development

  • Conduct in vitro studies such as:

    • Cellular assays

    • Multiparametric flow cytometry

    • Molecular biology techniques (to interpret in vivo findings)

🧪 Lab Operations

  • Operate and maintain lab equipment

  • Maintain accurate and timely data records

  • Analyze data and present results

🧠 Team Collaboration

  • Actively participate in cross-departmental teams and meetings

  • Present experimental findings and contribute to strategic discussions


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications (one of the following):

  • Master’s degree + 1 year of laboratory experience

  • Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of laboratory experience

Must have strong understanding and practical application of scientific principles in laboratory settings.


🌟 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field + 4 years of laboratory experience

  • Practical experience with preclinical cancer and immuno-oncology models

  • Skilled in drug administration via multiple routes

  • Familiarity with bioluminescence imaging (BLI)

  • Experience in blood/tissue collection and downstream analysis

  • Strong background in flow cytometry (5+ color analysis preferred)

  • Hands-on expertise with molecular, cellular, and ex vivo assays

  • Proficiency in software tools: GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Previous drug discovery experience is a plus

  • High attention to detail and scientific rigor

  • Self-driven, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute in a collaborative team environment
