Position Summary:
We are seeking an Associate – Scientific Writing to join our medical communications team. The role involves creating, reviewing, and updating high-quality scientific and promotional content for pharmaceutical clients while ensuring medical accuracy, compliance with regulations, and scientific rigor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review promotional and medical communication materials to ensure content is medically accurate, scientifically rigorous, balanced, and aligned with product, therapy area, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Develop and update scientific content for client deliverables, including literature searches, reference validation, and content audits.

  • Prepare and review deliverables adhering to quality standards, timelines, and client satisfaction metrics under guidance from the manager.

  • Apply best practices in content creation, documentation, project management, referencing, data validation, and internal/external communication.

  • Participate in training programs, client calls, and project discussions as required.

  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, confidentiality, and information security standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MD, MDS, PhD, or MBBS with relevant experience.

  • 1–2 years of experience in scientific/medical writing or medical review in pharmaceutical or healthcare companies.

  • Knowledge of at least one specialty area of medicine, or broad understanding of medical science.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to scientific accuracy.

  • Passion for scientific writing and staying current with medical and technical developments.

  • Client-oriented with ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and provide high-quality deliverables.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in medical review and scientific content creation for pharma clients.

  • Proficiency in literature searching, referencing, and content validation.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and medical SOPs.
