About the Role: Associate – Scientific Writing (Omnichannel Marketing)
The Associate – Scientific Writing will support the creation, review, and adaptation of scientific and promotional content across digital and omnichannel platforms for global pharmaceutical and healthcare brands. This role is ideal for freshers who aspire to work at the intersection of science, content strategy, and healthcare communication.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
• Create, review, and edit scientific and promotional content including emails, detail aids, websites, MOA narratives, digital banners, and patient/HCP engagement materials
• Translate complex clinical and scientific information into accurate, clear, and audience-appropriate content
• Support development of medical claims matrices, references, and annotations
Research and Scientific Accuracy
• Conduct literature searches and summarize scientific information for brand-aligned content
• Ensure all materials maintain scientific accuracy, proper referencing, and alignment with sourced data
• Stay updated on therapeutic areas, clinical research trends, and evolving healthcare industry developments
Compliance and MLR Review Support
• Assist in preparing content for Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) reviews
• Incorporate reviewer feedback in a structured and timely manner
• Support adherence to regulatory, compliance, and brand guidelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with medical reviewers, brand teams, and creative teams to ensure high-quality content delivery
• Coordinate with omnichannel campaign teams to ensure content supports strategy and user-journey requirements
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Life Sciences
• Pharmacy
• Medicine
• Biomedical or related disciplines
Training or certification in medical or scientific writing is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
• Ability to interpret scientific/clinical data and simplify it for diverse audiences
• Strong writing, editing, and attention-to-detail abilities
• Basic understanding of referencing styles (AMA, APA, Vancouver)
• Capability to work collaboratively in structured, compliance-driven environments
• Willingness to learn Veeva Promomats or other MLR workflow platforms
• Strong research aptitude and scientific reasoning
