Job Summary

The Associate Project Manager – Consulting role at Novo Nordisk GBS Consulting involves supporting and leading strategic consulting initiatives across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Consulting & Business Solutioning

  • Partner with:

    • Global stakeholders (HQ, IO-SO, affiliates)

    • Functional leadership teams

    • Internal GBS organizations

  • Drive strategic consulting projects across:

    • Research

    • Drug development

    • Regulatory affairs

    • Medical affairs

    • Patient safety

    • Quality

    • Supply chain

    • Commercial and marketing functions

  • Apply consulting frameworks to:

    • Structure ambiguous business problems

    • Analyze strategic issues

    • Develop actionable recommendations

  • Design and facilitate workshops for:

    • Problem-solving

    • Stakeholder alignment

    • Decision-making

  • Develop practical business solutions and implementation approaches.


2. Project Management

  • Prepare and manage:

    • Project plans

    • Timelines

    • Scope documents

    • Validation and implementation plans

  • Monitor project progress and identify/escalate risks.

  • Ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Manage:

    • Meeting agendas

    • Minutes of Meeting (MoM)

    • Project documentation

    • Case studies

    • Internal memos

  • Set up governance structures and project tracking mechanisms.


3. Strategic Initiatives & Cross-functional Support

  • Support GBS Consulting colleagues on strategic workstreams.

  • Drive projects independently with limited managerial guidance.

  • Contribute to:

    • GBS 2026 strategy initiatives

    • Organizational transformation programs

    • Change management initiatives

  • Conduct:

    • Ad-hoc analyses

    • Strategic assessments

    • Business reviews

  • Assist leadership meetings through:

    • Presentation preparation

    • Agenda management

    • Strategic communication


4. Problem Solving & Solution Design

  • Use structured problem-solving methodologies to:

    • Identify root causes

    • Design practical solutions

    • Align stakeholders on implementation strategies

  • Develop:

    • Project templates

    • Governance tools

    • Workshop materials

    • Consulting frameworks

  • Support solution implementation and milestone tracking.


5. Industry Research & Best Practices

  • Stay updated on:

    • GBS transformation trends

    • Change management practices

    • Consulting methodologies

    • Industry best practices

  • Coordinate external benchmarking activities and peer-company visits if required.


Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s degree (required)


Experience

  • 2–5 years of management consulting experience

  • Experience in a top-tier consulting firm preferred
