Associate Market Development Manager – Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Job Summary:

Novo Nordisk Indonesia is seeking an experienced Associate Market Development Manager to drive strategic commercial partnerships and support market access and expansion initiatives. Based in Yogyakarta, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the high-impact GLP-1 team and contribute to patient-centered diabetes and obesity solutions. Ideal for professionals with strong stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, and strategic marketing experience in the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business objectives into actionable partnership strategies aligned with future product portfolios.

  • Scout and evaluate potential partnerships in sectors like eHealth, clinics, insurers, and healthcare services.

  • Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle: prospecting, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Marketing, Market Access, Legal, Finance) to ensure deal alignment and compliance.

  • Develop strategic and financial business cases for review and approval.

  • Maintain post-contract partner relationships, monitor performance, align KPIs, and ensure goals are met.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, or commercial partnerships.

  • Strong project management and contract negotiation skills.

  • Experience with healthcare industry stakeholders and commercial decision-making.

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
