Join our Medtech Insights team as an Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst and work on market research, competitive analysis, clinical trial analysis, financial analysis, forecasting, and insight generation for the medical devices and healthcare markets. This role involves producing comprehensive market research reports and conducting custom consulting projects.
The team consists of around 25 colleagues across three teams in India and reports to the respective team managers. If you have a background or interest in market research and consulting in medical devices and healthcare, we would love to hear from you!
Fresher or at least 1-year relevant job experience in secondary market research, forecasting, etc.
Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare.
Proficiency in MS Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas).
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
Ability to handle tight deadlines and work independently or in a team.
Business acumen to support sales success and stakeholder relationships.
Well-developed therapy expertise in at least one medical device market or related work experience.
Advanced MS Excel skills (data organization, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
Knowledge of SQL/Python for data analysis.
Primary & Secondary Research
Conduct interviews with industry professionals and medical experts.
Manage online and in-person physician surveys.
Search Clarivate's proprietary research repository for relevant data.
Analyze financial, regulatory, and government documents to find key medical approval data.
Data Analysis & Forecasting
Build and interpret market models integrating diverse data points.
Forecast healthcare and medical device markets, considering new product developments and market disruptors.
Identify data trends and outliers using time-series tables and graphs.
Use MS Excel and databases to manipulate large datasets.
Market Research Reports & Insights
Prepare comprehensive research reports on medical device markets.
Provide insightful market analysis explaining trends and figures.
Write competitive analysis reports based on primary and secondary research.
Analyze qualitative trends in various medical sectors.
The Medtech Insights team consists of subject matter experts producing Medtech 360 syndicated reports and conducting custom consulting projects related to medical device markets. The team combines real-world healthcare data, expert interviews, and market insights to help medical device companies make informed business decisions.
