About the Role

Clarivate is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join its Medtech Insights team in Bangalore. This role offers a strong entry point into the global healthcare analytics and medical device research domain, where you will contribute to syndicated reports and customized consulting projects.

You will work within a high-performing team of 45+ professionals, collaborating closely with industry experts and leadership to deliver data-backed insights that influence strategic decisions in the medical device sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter contributor in medical device therapy areas, particularly cardiovascular markets

  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including interviews with healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders

  • Analyze financial reports, regulatory filings, and healthcare data sources to support market intelligence

  • Develop structured datasets, perform advanced data analysis, and generate actionable insights

  • Build and maintain forecasting models using macroeconomic and micro-level healthcare drivers

  • Identify trends, patterns, and outliers using time-series analysis and data visualization techniques

  • Translate qualitative research findings into quantitative models and strategic recommendations

  • Prepare high-quality research reports, presentations, and client deliverables

  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to client engagement activities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members when required


Eligibility Criteria & Required Skills

  • B.Tech / Master’s Degree (Life Sciences, MBA) / PharmD / PhD

  • Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of relevant experience can apply

  • Basic understanding of healthcare or medical device industry preferred

  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and analytical frameworks

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, structured datasets)

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Professional maturity to interact with global clients and stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Academic or practical exposure to life sciences or healthcare research

  • Familiarity with healthcare consulting, forecasting, or market access studies

  • Understanding of U.S. healthcare systems or global medical device markets

  • Strong business acumen and creative problem-solving mindset

The Medtech Insights team operates at the intersection of healthcare analytics, market intelligence, and strategic consulting. Known for its data-driven approach, the team plays a critical role in shaping insights across the global medical technology ecosystem.

  • Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM (IST)

  • Work Mode: Hybrid (Monday to Friday)
