About the Role:
Join Novo Nordisk's Global Medical Affairs department and contribute to the scientific communication of Novo Nordisk’s products. As an Associate Global Scientific Advisor, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and prepare scientific materials for medical congresses and publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, accurate scientific and medical input for various projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from global medical affairs, US affiliates, and other functional areas.
  • Engage in scientific dialogue with KOLs to disseminate medical and scientific information.
  • Prepare presentations for Novo Nordisk events and international medical congresses.
  • Edit, rewrite, and prepare manuscripts for clinical studies and scientific reports.
  • Prepare educational materials for sales and update existing product literature.
  • Maintain files on journal abstracts and compose medical papers from outlines provided by doctors.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in life sciences or PharmD/M Pharm with 2-3 years of experience in research or medical/scientific writing.
  • Proven publication record as a first author.
  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively.
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and fluency in professional English.
  • Experience working cross-culturally or in global teams.

About the Department:
The Bangalore Global Medical Affairs team is an extension of the team based in Denmark. This group includes medical writers, project managers, and publication managers who communicate scientific knowledge on Novo Nordisk's products and manage content development for global medical events.
