Job Purpose:
Execute and support chemical scale-up batches in the BMS Chemical Development Laboratory (BCDL) and CSD scale-up lab to ensure efficient and compliant process operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical process execution in BCDL and scale-up labs, ensuring adherence to technical protocols and EHS standards.

  • Maintain accurate online documentation of process parameters, batch details, and experimental observations.

  • Coordinate effectively within BCDL and with the CDAS team to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.

  • Contribute to process optimization and problem-solving during scale-up operations.

  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (B.Sc. Chemistry)

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with chemical plant operations, preferably in kilo lab or pilot plant environments.

  • Strong technical skills and foundational knowledge of chemistry.

  • Proficient in process-related documentation and reporting.

  • Effective communication and coordination skills.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Adaptability to changing laboratory and project requirements.

  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
