Job Purpose:
Execute and support chemical scale-up batches in the BMS Chemical Development Laboratory (BCDL) and CSD scale-up lab to ensure efficient and compliant process operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform chemical process execution in BCDL and scale-up labs, ensuring adherence to technical protocols and EHS standards.
Maintain accurate online documentation of process parameters, batch details, and experimental observations.
Coordinate effectively within BCDL and with the CDAS team to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
Contribute to process optimization and problem-solving during scale-up operations.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (B.Sc. Chemistry)
Technical & Functional Skills:
Hands-on experience with chemical plant operations, preferably in kilo lab or pilot plant environments.
Strong technical skills and foundational knowledge of chemistry.
Proficient in process-related documentation and reporting.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Behavioral Skills:
Adaptability to changing laboratory and project requirements.
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
