The Role

The Associate Director, US Medical Affairs Hematology Strategy will report to the Director, US Medical Affairs Hematology Strategy Lead. This role will support the strategy lead in providing medical affairs leadership on indolent lymphomas while contributing to the overall hematology portfolio. The individual will collaborate with US Commercialization, Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute a medical strategy aligned with company goals and the needs of the US healthcare market.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the indication strategy team lead to execute US Medical Affairs strategic and tactical plans in alignment with Global Medical Affairs and other teams.
Serve as a US Medical Affairs strategy expert in internal and external discussions, including US/Global cross-functional teams, clinical development teams, advisory boards, professional society meetings, and congresses.
Support pre/peri/post launch medical activities for assigned asset(s) in the US market.
Work with US Field Medical Affairs to develop and execute regional disease/indication strategies and tactics.
Partner with clinical development, regulatory, commercial, and market access teams to integrate insights into product strategies and support product launches and lifecycle management.
Monitor investigator-sponsored trials (IST) and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to support indication strategies and ensure effective data dissemination.
Review congress abstracts, posters, presentations, manuscripts, educational materials, advisory board meeting materials, and medical information response documents from a strategic perspective.
Engage with US Thought Leaders (TLs), healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups to gather insights.
Track and ensure the execution of US Medical Affairs tactics.
Stay informed on industry trends, developments, and competitive landscape to refine US medical strategy.
Foster a high-performance team culture emphasizing excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements

Advanced degree in a health-related field (MD, PhD, or PharmD). Experience in hematology preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related roles in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
Deep understanding of clinical trial conduct in hematology, including clinical data review and interpretation.
Experience in translating medical/clinical information into medical affairs strategies.
Familiarity with the US healthcare system, regulatory requirements, and payer landscape.
Customer-focused orientation; product launch readiness experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment requiring collaboration and teamwork.
Business travel (~25%) required.

Salary & Benefits

Proposed Salary Range: $179,280.00 - $268,920.00
The final salary offer will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Additional compensation may include bonuses and other incentives.
