Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring an Associate Director, Statistical Programming to lead a high-performing clinical programming team in Pune (Yerawada). The role involves managing statistical programming activities across global clinical trials, ensuring the highest quality of data standards and regulatory compliance. Candidates with 12+ years of experience in SAS programming, ADaM, SDTM, and TFL, along with 2–3 years of team leadership, are ideal for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage statistical programming teams across multiple projects.
Oversee line management of regional and local staff, including performance evaluations, hiring, and training.
Assign programmers to projects based on skills and utilization goals.
Ensure deliverables are high quality, on-time, and within budget.
Engage with clients and handle escalations effectively.
Develop standardized programming processes and best practices across projects.
Mentor managers and senior programmers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Support business development efforts including RFPs and bid defense meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in statistical programming within clinical trials.
Expertise in SAS, ADaM, SDTM, and TFL standards.
2–3 years of experience managing 30–40 FTEs and handling client interactions.
BS/MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead large teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
