Job Description

Job Summary

The Associate Director, FSP 360, provides leadership, guidance, and management to FSP 360 functional teams. This role is pivotal in training, consulting, and ensuring quality within operational activities, guaranteeing project deliverables are achieved. It also involves liaising across departments or business units to optimize resources, standardize clinical operations, and drive efficiency. Additionally, this position contributes to operational initiatives and may serve as a regional operational lead or subject matter expert (SME) in areas requiring in-depth country, regional, or functional expertise.


Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Delivery and Success

  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with customers and escalate critical issues when necessary.

  • Solicit feedback to enhance service delivery and strengthen customer relations.

  • Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze performance metrics, and address any compliance gaps with mitigation plans.

  • Manage staffing needs, workload reviews, and resource availability, ensuring optimal allocation for projects.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) for future resourcing needs.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory guidelines, including ICH-GCP.

  • Conduct oversight visits for Clinical Research Associates and ensure adherence to training and documentation standards.

  • Manage system updates and ensure compliance with company and customer processes.

2. Business Impact

  • Partner with stakeholders to drive customer growth strategies and support new project awards during proposal and bid-defense processes.

  • Share knowledge and best practices across the business unit to enhance the FSP 360 operating model.

  • Make data-driven decisions to positively impact overall business performance.

  • Support revenue targets by aligning program delivery with business unit objectives.

  • Represent the company at professional meetings or seminars, as needed.

3. People Leadership

  • Actively manage team performance through established processes for both individual contributors and managerial staff.

  • Ensure training compliance, oversee administrative tasks, and support professional development through coaching and mentoring.

  • Foster a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and retention within the team.

  • Model inclusive behaviors and manage bias to uphold diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or a related field. Extensive clinical research experience, including leadership roles, is required.

  • Strong understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proven time management, technical, and organizational abilities.

  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a customer-focused mindset and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring and motivating teams.

  • Proficiency in understanding cross-functional workflows and processes.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
