Position Overview:
Clario is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join our Specialty Data Science team. The successful candidate will support clinical data collection, management, analysis, and reporting to facilitate algorithm development, FDA submissions, and scientific research. This role provides hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and manage clinical datasets for research, algorithm development, and regulatory submissions.

  • Perform data manipulation, preprocessing, and analytics on large-scale clinical and operational data.

  • Apply statistical techniques including regression, cluster analysis, and Bayesian methods.

  • Develop predictive models and optimize classifiers using machine learning algorithms.

  • Enhance data collection procedures and analytic systems for improved efficiency and accuracy.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present results in clear, actionable formats to stakeholders.

  • Support operational and strategic decision-making by interpreting clinical data insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, regulatory, and technology teams.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, data integrity, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, clinical research data management, or data science.

  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL, and scripting for data analysis.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, GGplot, or D3.js.

  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques including k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, and Decision Forests.

  • Applied statistics knowledge including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, design, and implement solutions to complex data challenges.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex scientific insights.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
