Job Overview
The Associate Data Scientist will work alongside Clinical Data Scientists to support clinical data collection, analysis, and reporting for algorithm development, regulatory submissions (including FDA), and research initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build expertise in clinical data science, machine learning, and evidence-based healthcare analytics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and manage clinical datasets for research and algorithm development

  • Perform data manipulation, validation, and statistical analysis on large-scale datasets

  • Apply advanced statistical methods including regression analysis, clustering, and Bayesian techniques

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, and Decision Forests

  • Improve data collection frameworks to enhance analytical efficiency and system performance

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present actionable insights to stakeholders

  • Support data-driven decision-making for clinical and operational strategies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical research, biostatistics, and technology teams

  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related domains (Freshers with strong project experience in Python/R/ML can apply)

  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with strong programming capabilities

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, D3.js, or GGplot

  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques

  • Strong understanding of data structures, statistical distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis

  • Ability to solve complex analytical problems and translate data into business insights

  • Excellent communication skills for presenting scientific and analytical findings
