Job Summary

Clarivate is seeking an Associate Consultant to join the Epidemiology Consulting Practice in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will define project scopes, analyze and interpret complex datasets, and deliver actionable insights for pharmaceutical clients. The position primarily focuses on two high-growth areas: Epidemiology and U.S. Claims Analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute primary and secondary research to support client deliverables.

  • Perform quantitative analyses such as patient population sizing, modelling, claims analysis, and forecasting for epidemiology projects.

  • Conduct systematic literature reviews (published and grey literature) to estimate disease incidence and prevalence over 10–20 years.

  • Prepare research dossiers, epidemiological summaries, and reports for internal and client use.

  • Support business development activities by scoping research programs and providing epidemiological insights.

  • Source and curate data from secondary sources such as disease registries, cancer registries, and public health databases.

  • Perform and present statistical analyses using tools like R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or other analytical software.

  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients and internal teams.


Education, Experience, and Skills

Required:

  • Advanced degree in Epidemiology, Public Health (quantitative focus), or Biostatistics.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Epidemiology or Consulting within Life Sciences or Healthcare domains.

  • Strong understanding of observational and analytical methods.

  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to draw evidence-based conclusions.

  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences and deliver high-quality client service.

Preferred:

  • Experience in patient population sizing and forecast modelling.

  • Proficiency in R, Python, SPSS, SAS, SQL, or machine learning tools.
