JOB OVERVIEW
The Associate / Associate Consultant – EMEA Life Sciences, Strategy Consulting is responsible for supporting strategic consulting engagements for global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare clients. The role involves market research, competitive intelligence, commercial strategy development, quantitative and qualitative analysis, business problem-solving, client presentations, proposal development, and collaboration with cross-functional consulting teams to deliver data-driven insights that support product commercialization, market access, portfolio strategy, and business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct primary and secondary market research.
Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Analyze pharmaceutical and healthcare market trends.
Identify business opportunities and market dynamics.
Generate actionable insights from complex datasets.
Strategic Consulting
Support the development of commercial and business strategies.
Evaluate strategic alternatives for client challenges.
Assist in portfolio and asset strategy projects.
Support pricing and market access initiatives.
Contribute to product launch and commercialization strategies.
Business Intelligence & Insights
Interpret healthcare and pharmaceutical data.
Translate analytical findings into business recommendations.
Develop strategic reports and executive summaries.
Present insights to internal and client stakeholders.
Support evidence-based decision-making.
Client Engagement
Assist in client meetings, workshops, and presentations.
Prepare professional consulting presentations and reports.
Support communication with global clients and stakeholders.
Respond to client queries and project requirements.
Build strong client relationships through quality deliverables.
Project Management
Support planning and execution of consulting projects.
Coordinate project activities and timelines.
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Maintain high-quality consulting deliverables.
Proposal Development
Assist in preparing consulting proposals.
Support business development initiatives.
Contribute to proposal writing and documentation.
Participate in project scoping activities.
Support senior consultants during proposal presentations.
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary consulting teams.
Support mentoring and guidance of junior team members.
Participate in learning and development initiatives.
Contribute to recruitment and knowledge-sharing activities.
Continuously build expertise in consulting methodologies and life sciences.
Innovation & Digital Transformation
Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:
Life Sciences
Pharmacy
Biotechnology
Medicine
Business Administration
Economics
Healthcare Management
Or a related discipline
Preferred
PhD with commercial experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
