    Job Overview

    The Medical Review Project Manager will provide expert medical review capabilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality data management products that align with customer requirements. This role encompasses project management support focused on structured patient data review from a clinician's perspective.

    Essential Functions

    • Patient Data Analysis: Identify anomalies in patient data to ensure medical congruence and plausibility according to study protocols.
    • Project Management: With minimal guidance, collaborate with clinical study teams and key decision-makers to manage continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections, and provide technical expertise.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients to enhance service delivery.
    • Performance Tracking: Track service performance and lead initiatives to identify root causes of issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Compliance Resolution: Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance-related issues.
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as an SME in relevant therapeutic areas.
    • Efficiency Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance task efficiency and the quality of deliverables.
    • Training Provision: Conduct training sessions for the project clinical team on specific therapeutic areas and indications.
    • Meeting Participation: Attend Kick-Off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings as required.

    Qualifications

    • Education: A degree in Medicine (5-year college degree or MBBS) is required.
    • Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a clinical or biological field with at least 3 years of experience in clinical practice or a clinical research-related environment is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
    • Clinical Data Experience: Proven experience in clinical data sciences within a Contract Research Organization (CRO), pharmaceutical company, or similar medical environment, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
    • Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of clinical/medical data, including familiarity with medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
    • Operational Focus: Ability to balance medical expertise with operational metrics to effectively resolve issues.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Project Management Skills: Strong project management abilities with a capacity to coach others effectively.
    • Independence and Multitasking: Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
    • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
