Overview

Insmed seeks an accomplished Associate Director, HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) to play a pivotal role in advancing the development and communication of HEOR evidence demonstrating the value of Insmed’s products. This role will collaborate closely with HEOR team members and stakeholders across market access, marketing, medical affairs, and clinical development on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HEOR research projects as a subject matter expert, including burden of illness studies, patient evidence studies, medical claims and electronic health records database analyses, economic models, and systematic literature reviews.
  • Develop HEOR research project materials such as study protocols, analysis plans, reports, value dossiers, and publications, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Represent HEOR on clinical and commercial cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated activities and timely deliverables.
  • Direct external research vendors and consultants, overseeing scientific methodologies and project outcomes.
  • Manage HEOR budgets, support departmental operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD strongly preferred) in a quantitative life sciences field.
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in HEOR and/or market access.
  • Proficiency in analytic methodologies, modeling, scientific data interpretation, and presentation.
  • Experience with healthcare databases and coding systems; essential project management skills required.
  • HEOR experience in the U.S. is required; global experience is desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 15% travel, including domestic and international.

Salary Range

The base salary range for this position is $147,000.00 to $206,333.00 per year, based on candidate qualifications and the complexity of the role.
