Role Overview: Associate Clinical Specialist

As an Associate Clinical Specialist, you will be part of a purpose-driven team supporting clinical activities, product training, customer support, and sales enablement. This entry-level role is ideal for professionals who want to begin a long-term career in medical devices, clinical support, and healthcare innovation.


A Day in the Life: Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Training

  • Conduct on-site clinical education, demonstrations, and consulting for customers and healthcare professionals.

  • Provide technical and clinical assistance to field teams to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.

Sales Collaboration

  • Partner with sales colleagues to plan and execute sales strategies across one or more business units.

  • Support customer case activities and coordinate with Clinical Leads, Clinical Managers, and Regional Sales teams.

  • Participate in conferences, conventions, and meetings to increase product visibility and adoption.

Growth & Customer Engagement

  • Identify growth opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Clinical Support teams.

  • Serve as a technical resource to support product sales and solution offerings.

Professional Contribution

  • Deliver assigned project-related work with close supervision.

  • Apply specialized knowledge gained through education to solve basic problems and support team objectives.

  • Contribute to project design, implementation, documentation, and process refinement.


Role Classification: Specialist Career Stream

  • Entry-level individual contributor working under close guidance.

  • Focus on self-development and contributing to small-scale or less complex tasks.

  • Communicates mainly within the immediate team and gathers information for task execution.

  • Makes minor improvements to systems or processes as needed.


Required Education & Qualifications

Global Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent international qualification meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)).

  • No prior experience required.

APAC Region Alternative:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
