Job Overview

Medtronic is seeking a motivated Associate Clinical Specialist to support clinical education, product utilization, and sales enablement for innovative medical technologies. This role offers an excellent entry point into clinical support within a global healthcare technology leader, combining hands-on clinical exposure with cross-functional collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

As an Associate Clinical Specialist, you will work closely with clinical leaders, sales teams, and customers to deliver technical expertise, procedural support, and product education while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth in medical technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site clinical education, product training, and procedural support to healthcare professionals

  • Support field sales teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction

  • Act as a technical resource for assigned medical products or solutions

  • Collaborate with Clinical Leads, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales teams to support cases and sales initiatives

  • Participate in medical conferences, forums, and customer meetings to increase product awareness

  • Identify and support growth opportunities in collaboration with sales and clinical teams

  • Assist in executing sales and clinical support plans within assigned business units


Role Scope and Impact

  • Entry-level individual contributor within the Specialist career stream

  • Works under close supervision while delivering assigned projects and clinical activities

  • Supports limited-scope initiatives and contributes to defined clinical and sales objectives

  • Applies theoretical and practical clinical knowledge to resolve routine, non-complex issues

  • Communicates primarily with internal teams and stakeholders to gather and share information


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field preferred)

  • Experience:

    • 0 years of experience required with a Bachelor’s degree

    • APAC Region Alternative: High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical or healthcare experience

  • Broad theoretical knowledge typically gained through advanced education

  • Willingness to learn medical technologies and clinical workflows
