Job Description: Assistant Manager - Quality Auditor

Role Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Quality Auditor is responsible for enhancing the quality of care in assigned clinics by providing guidance, subject matter expertise, and support. This role serves as a liaison between hemodialysis clinics and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with clinical quality protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Quality Implementation & Compliance

  • Ensure implementation of Clinical Quality & Management Directives and work instructions across assigned clinics.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in appropriate registers that reflect current best practices and comply with clinical directives.
  • Manage document version control and notify clinics about new documentation.
  • Conduct health record reviews to assess and evaluate care and treatment quality.

2. Auditing & Reporting

  • Conduct periodic audits as per the annual Audit Calendar and additional need-based audits.
  • Prepare, collate, and report on Clinical Quality (CQ) audits.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to Clinical Quality protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) protocols.
  • Monitor and ensure 100% compliance in EuCliD (clinical data management system).

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with various departments to align Clinical Quality objectives with organizational goals.
  • Strengthen the connection between Clinical Quality, Nursing, and Education teams.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and infection prevention & control measures.

4. Training & Knowledge Development

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in end-stage renal disease treatment.
  • Attend relevant courses, conferences, and formal education programs.
  • Deliver public speaking engagements and training sessions for clinical teams.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    • Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional, Pharmacist, or similar healthcare qualification.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
    • Strong knowledge of hemodialysis and experience in infection prevention and control.
    • Extensive experience in public speaking and training delivery.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Leadership skills in customer service, performance management, quality improvement, accreditation, and infection control.
    • Sensitivity to individual and cultural differences.
    • Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously.
