Job Description

Merck Group is seeking an Analyst - Quality Services to join their team in Bangalore’s Electronic City. This role focuses on managing Field Corrective Actions (FCA), Change Notifications (CN), and customer communications within the life sciences domain.


Key Responsibilities:

Change Notification and Letter Writing:

  • Field Corrective Actions (FCA):

    • Monitor and address FCA requests promptly.
    • Prepare FCA letters and supporting documents.
    • Schedule and document evidence of postal dispatch.
    • Escalate technical database issues and critical cases as necessary.
  • Change Notifications (CN):

    • Assess and process CN requests for global life sciences sites.
    • Prepare and distribute customer notifications in the CN database.
    • Handle customer inquiries related to changes.

Process Management and Tools:

  • Respond to queries within established timelines, ensuring timely case closure.
  • Perform quality checks, maintain tracking metrics, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Use tools like M-Clarity and SFDC for managing and routing queries.
  • Manage change control agreements and identify inconsistencies for correction.
  • Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to strategic projects as required.

Collaboration:

  • Internal Teams: Work closely with Customer Excellence, Regulatory Affairs, Hazard Communications, Quality Operations, and more.
  • External: Limited or no direct interaction with external customers.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Professional communication skills (email).
  • Flexibility to explore related topics.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Office, M-Clarity, and SFDC.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline).
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in a quality-related field (e.g., QA/QC).
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in customer support or a related field.
  • Knowledge of database software and MS Excel.
  • Experience working in global teams within matrixed organizations.
  • Skills for continuous improvement initiatives.
