About the Position:
The Global Medical Advisor will provide strategic and medical guidance to support Novo Nordisk’s portfolio of products. The role involves contributing to key deliverables in the medical affairs team, offering expert scientific and clinical data interpretation, and communicating insights to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires effective collaboration with various teams, managing KOL relationships, and supporting the development of scientific content and training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PDP Process: Act as the PDP Secretary, driving the PDP process at the regional level and ensuring smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Scientific Data Communication: Interpret and communicate scientific data to ensure the correct use of Novo Nordisk products, particularly in diabetes, obesity, rare diseases, and OSCD.

  • Medical Guidance: Provide timely and accurate scientific medical guidance across various medical affairs focus areas.

  • KOL & Association Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and scientific experts. Contribute to the development and execution of global Health Care Professional strategies.

  • Scientific Communication: Transform clinical trial data into scientific content for broader communication and early market access support.

  • Training & Education: Conduct global training events and develop digital solutions (e.g., e-learning) for affiliates. Provide ongoing medical support and guidance for external audiences.

  • Medical Content Development: Lead the development of medical guidance documents and contribute to content development for meetings and events initiated by the Medical & Scientific Affairs teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.D. with substantial clinical and/or research expertise, preferably in Endocrinology, Cardiology, General Practice, or Internal Medicine.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience, with a background in diabetes and drug development.

  • Skills: Strong research experience (e.g., publications), fluency in both spoken and written English, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
