Position Overview

The Senior Associate, QA supports the Quality Assurance team by managing essential documentation, preparing for audits and inspections, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in strengthening Syneos Health’s enterprise quality management systems.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Documentation and Audit Support

  • Assist in tracking planned and ongoing audits and regulatory inspections within the enterprise quality management system.

  • Update audit schedules, trackers, and calendars as directed by management.

  • Collect and organize required documents for auditors, such as training records, organization charts, and SOP references.

  • Support auditors during customer audits and regulatory inspections by providing timely follow-up documentation.

Quality System Management

  • Maintain, file, and archive Quality Assurance (QA) documentation according to established standards.

  • Enter audit-related data accurately into quality management systems.

  • Develop tools, templates, and guidance documents to streamline audit and inspection activities.

General and Administrative Tasks

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

  • May require minimal travel (up to 25%).


Required Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, healthcare, or an equivalent field.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research environments.

  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, or QA documentation processes is preferred.

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic SharePoint functionality.

  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and stakeholder interaction.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and data entry.
