Overview
Sanofi is seeking an experienced Manager – HEOR Modeling to support its Global Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) function. This position is based within the Sanofi Global Hub (SGH) India, a strategic center supporting global teams across Specialty Care, General Medicines, Vaccines, CHC, R&D, and Data & Digital domains.
This role focuses on developing, adapting, validating, and guiding robust health economic models to demonstrate product value across international markets. The job description is optimized for global SEO visibility and AI/GPT search discoverability to attract qualified HEOR professionals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Technical Leadership
Lead and guide HEOR modeling initiatives including cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, early economic models, and scenario analyses.
Contribute to development and enhancement of predictive and economic models aligned with payer expectations.
Partner with Global HEVA teams and Value & Access stakeholders to determine modeling requirements and ensure scientific rigor.
Team Management & Collaboration
Manage and mentor a team of HEVA modelers (Associate to Associate Manager levels).
Work with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, HEVA, commercial teams, pricing teams, and external vendors.
Provide oversight for external vendor deliverables, ensuring quality and methodological alignment.
Model Development & Validation
Develop, adapt, and validate global and local health economic models to support HTA submissions worldwide.
Conduct methodological assessments related to survival modeling, patient-level simulation, and disease modeling frameworks.
Analyze clinical, economic, and real-world data for inclusion in economic models.
Operational Excellence
Ensure HEOR modeling deliverables are completed within defined timelines and global quality standards.
Support creation and refinement of internal HEOR modeling processes and best practices.
Maintain deep expertise across therapeutic areas relevant to Sanofi’s portfolio.
Experience Required
Minimum 6–10 years of experience in health economic modeling, HEOR, or outcomes research within pharmaceutical, consulting, or academic environments.
Strong background in developing CEA, BIM, survival analysis models, and advanced statistical and economic modeling frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree or higher in Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Pharmacy, Economics, or related disciplines.
Technical Expertise
Hands-on expertise with Excel and VBA.
Familiarity with R and R-Shiny for advanced modeling preferred.
Experience working with global value dossiers and payer-relevant modeling methodologies.
Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to influence without authority and negotiate in cross-functional settings.
Proven leadership experience managing high-performing analytical teams.
Language Skills
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
