Role Overview
ICON is seeking an Investigator Payments Coordinator to manage and process payments to clinical trial investigators across India. The role ensures accurate, timely financial transactions while supporting smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with investigators. This position involves close collaboration with finance, clinical operations, and external stakeholders to support the financial aspects of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate investigator payment processes, including invoice review, accuracy verification, and compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
Resolve payment-related queries and discrepancies in collaboration with clinical and finance teams.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements.
Assist in developing and implementing streamlined payment procedures to improve efficiency and investigator satisfaction.
Communicate with investigators and study sites, providing guidance on payment processes and resolving any issues or concerns.
Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc financial and operational tasks related to clinical trials.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in financial coordination, payment processing, or related roles; experience in clinical research or healthcare finance is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
