Red Nucleus is seeking a highly accomplished Global Enterprise Business Development Director to lead enterprise-level commercial growth across its diversified life sciences portfolio. This remote US-based role is designed for a senior business development executive with deep experience in strategic account expansion, integrated solution selling, and multi-division revenue leadership.

Role Overview

The Enterprise Business Development Director (EBDD) is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving strategic growth across top-tier pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations. This role focuses on expanding enterprise accounts, identifying cross-functional opportunities, shaping integrated solutions, and securing long-term partnerships across consulting, communications, learning, and technology offerings.

The EBDD acts both as a strategic seller and a collaborative coach, working closely with Business Unit leaders, Business Development Directors, and senior client stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment and unified market positioning.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Growth Strategy

  • Lead enterprise-level expansion across all Red Nucleus business units

  • Build and execute tailored strategic account plans for priority global clients

  • Identify whitespace opportunities and shape cross-functional solutions

  • Align enterprise sales strategies with the Chief Business Officer and BU leadership

Sales Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to BD Directors across business units

  • Facilitate integrated account planning and coordinated enterprise pursuits

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance on proposals, pricing, and governance

  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure seamless handoff and long-term client satisfaction

Commercial Execution

  • Own and achieve enterprise revenue targets across a portfolio of high-value accounts

  • Lead major pursuits, negotiations, and renewal cycles for multi-million-dollar engagements

  • Serve as executive contact for senior client stakeholders, including the C-suite

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline forecasting and CRM accuracy

Market Insight & Competitive Positioning

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and client priorities

  • Contribute to development of differentiated enterprise service offerings

  • Represent Red Nucleus at industry conferences and executive forums

Operational & Business Enablement

  • Improve commercial tools, templates, and enterprise selling frameworks

  • Ensure compliance with pricing models and margin expectations

  • Support data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement


Required Skills and Background

  • Proven success in enterprise-level sales, account expansion, or complex solution selling within life sciences or professional services

  • Strong understanding of integrated service portfolios including consulting, learning, communications, and technology

  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams in a matrixed environment

  • High financial acumen and proven experience managing large-scale contracts

  • Resilient, collaborative, and driven by both individual and team performance


Education & Experience Requirements

Experience Level

  • 10–15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development

  • Proven track record delivering multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets

  • Experience leading cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams in life sciences, healthcare, or consulting

  • Extensive C-suite relationship management experience within global pharma or biotech

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Communications, or related field

  • Advanced degree preferred
