Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate – Scientific Writing to contribute to high-quality, scientifically accurate content development and medical review across promotional and educational materials. The role involves reviewing, updating, and creating medical content while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, scientific rigor, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate promotional and medical communication materials for scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, relevance to therapy area, and alignment with client requirements.

  • Develop and update scientific content for medical materials, perform literature searches, and identify authentic references to support content creation.

  • Track, audit, and manage medical assets to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, client satisfaction metrics, and project timelines.

  • Follow departmental best practices for communication, project management, documentation, content formatting, referencing, and data validation.

  • Participate in client calls, team meetings, and project-related training programs as required.

  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality, data security, and compliance standards in all tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: MD, MDS, PhD, or MBBS with relevant experience.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of prior work in pharmaceutical companies, medical review, or scientific writing.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Understanding of medical and therapeutic areas, with specialization preferred.

    • Strong scientific writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

    • Ability to simplify complex medical concepts for varied audiences.

    • Proficiency in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

    • Client-oriented mindset and ability to build long-term professional relationships.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

    • Awareness of the latest scientific and technical developments in healthcare and medicine.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to pharmaceutical regulatory and promotional compliance guidelines.

  • Experience in literature review, referencing, and content auditing.

  • Familiarity with content management tools and digital collaboration platforms.
