SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy is one of the top most Pharmacy Institutes in the State of Maharashtra situated in Mumbai, Vile Parle West. Since 2004 it has achieved brilliance in pharmaceutical culture and research and has become a center of excellence in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The college focuses on pharmacy put into practice with the goal of strengthening the health care industry of the country which is booming. Though focused to ensure academic and co-curricular facilities to a vibrant student community, the college is conscious of its role as a constructive & responsible component of the larger society. The college conducts regularly guest lectures by Industry experts and career counselling sessions.

The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). At present the college conducts Four Year B. Pharm degree program which is accredited by national Board of Accreditation ( NBA). The college offers two years M. Pharm course with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance & Pharmacology to support higher education and research. The college is an approved center for Ph. D program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics. The faculty is actively involved in research activities including consultancy for national and international industries. More than 95% of the faculty holds a Ph. D degree and have industry experience ranging from 4-15 years. They have a strong industry connect because of which the college was selected for the AICTE-CII award. Our students are placed in reputed multinational organaztions and pursuing PhD from Universities of repute in India and abroad.
The college received the prestigious AICTE-CII best Industry-linked pharmacy institute Degree survey award 2015 and 2017. It was conferred the Platinum category in Pharmacy degree (standard) category for 2016. The college is Ranked All India NIRF ranking at 28th Rank in Pharmacy college category for the year 2021.
The College has won the BEST COLLEGE award for the 9th time at the IPA-MSB organized Rx Fest 2021. The college provides an open platform .

Placements of the college have been consistently improving considering the departments like clinical research, drug regulatory affairs, product formulation and product management. The companies offered a good variety of roles to students through on-campus placements. An increase in the number of companies visiting the campus will ensure dream jobs to any pharmacy graduate. Almost 100% of the students secure an internship and a job through the campus placement cell. Companies like Dialhealth, Abbott etc. visited our college . Salary package would range from 2.5 to 3.5 LPA.
