Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (RIPER) is synonymous with high quality of Pharmacy education. The institute was established by a group of pharmacy teachers in the year 2002 under Raghavendra Educational and Rural Development Society (RERDS) with Reg. No.198 /2001.
RIPER is one of the largest premier pharmacy institute in the country, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA), Andhra Pradesh, India.
RIPER is conferred with Autonomous Status according to the 2 (f) and 12 (B) as per University Grants Commission (UGC) for a period of six years w.e.f. 2016-2017 to 2021-2022. The college is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi for under graduate course (UG) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A” grade.

Around 10% of the students got placed. The packages offered are 4.5 to 9 LPA. Around 40% of the students got internships. Only two to three companies come here. There are no top roles offered in our course. The students with convener should pay only the college fee, i.e., Rs. 13,000 to 16,000, but the management people should pay the college fee along with the government fee.
80% are placed, those who are interested to do internship all are guided to do and they arrange from the companies. Aurobindo, medrich, omega, Reddys, AET laboratories, Accenture, Cognizant, Biocon. The top roles offered is Reserach and development in industry.
