Maliba college of Pharmacy 

Maliba Pharmacy College in the picturesque campus of Gopal Vidyanagar on Bardoli-Mahuva Road. The college came into being on 1st Oct 2000 with the generosity of Shri Naranbhai Patel, an industrialist based in Africa, who had a vision for his motherland.  Maliba Pharmacy College has received grants from different agencies like Department of Science and Technology, AICTE, Gujarat Council on Science and Technology, and from Uka Tarsadia University. Maliba Pharmacy College also has consultancy project from LeoLens Technology USA and Sahajanand Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Surat.Maliba Pharmacy College has emerged as one of the leading and fast growing pharmacy institute in the state of Gujarat, delivering quality professional education. Its continued endeavor to achieve excellence has earned it enviable academic reputation in the state of Gujarat and its neighboring states. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Gujarat; and affiliated to Uka Tarsadia Unversity. It runs B Pharm program with an intake of 100 students and is also running M.Pharm and Ph. D. programs in subjects like Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. Maliba Pharmacy College has also started Pharm. D program approved by PCI from 2017.

• Dr. Bhavin Vyas and Mr. Vishal Agravat, Department of Pharmacology, Maliba Pharmacy College won the 1st Runners-up award at the R. V. Patel National Best Thesis Competition.
• Mr. Vishal Agravat, student of M. Pharm., Pharmacology, worked on a research project titled "Effectiveness of Sitagliptin in Diabetic Hypertensive Rats" under the guidance of Dr. Bhavin Vyas, Head of Department, Pharmacology.
• For this novel research, Mr. Vishal was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 31,000 and Dr. Bhavin Vyas received Rs. 25,000 cash prize, sponsored by Troikaa Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad.

Above 80% of the students were placed. The highest placement is 2 Lacs and the lowest is Rs 50000. Top recruiting companies are MRF, Reliance, Agro Agency. 70 per cent of the students got internship from this course and very big company. The top role is medical and pharmacist stall.
