Delhi Intitute of Pharmaceutical Science.
The institute was founded in 1964 as Department of Pharmacy of (later renamed Delhi College of Engineering, now Delhi Technological University) and was located in Kashmiri gate, Delhi. In 1972, it was converted into the College of Pharmacy and moved to the campus of the Finally, in 1979 it moved to its present campus in Pushp Vihar. In 2004 it was named as Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, affiliated toDU. Following the establishment of (DPSRU) it was made a constituent college of DPSRU, which operates from the same building.

The first round of online counselling for admission to DISPAR for Delhi General category was held from 3 to 5 September. The cutoff was 94 percent for B.Pharm; 91 percent for BPT; and 89 percent for D.Pharm. For Non- Delhi general category, the cutoff for admission was 95.67 percent for DIPSAR; 94.33 percent for BPT; and 94 percent for D.Pharm .
