Chandigarh University is ranked by many national and international agencies such as QS, NIRF, India Today, The Week, and Outlook. The university ranked at 29 among the top 200 universities by NIRF 2022 rankings. Previously, the university was ranked for the first time in 2021, the university featured in Overall and University categories of NIRF. It is the youngest university in India to be ranked by NIRF. The Week ranks Chandigarh University as the Best Emerging University across India. As per QS Rankings 2021, the university is among the Top 20 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India, both for Public and Private.
The university is ranked 7th in Top 25 Young Universities of India. It is ranked 10th among Top 50 Private State Universities in the country. CU is the first university in India to hold Limca Book of Records for Highest No. of Companies in one academic year. Chandigarh University has again proved its leadership when it comes to the students' placements & also has come up with new placement records. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2023. Recruiters made at total of 6154 placement offers during the first slot of Placements. 23 multi-national companies offered salary packages of INR 30 LPA & more to the students. The average salary stood at INR 9.54 LPA & the highest salary stood at more than INR 50 LPA.
During Chandigarh University Placements 2022, over 900 recruiters made more than 9500 offers which is 29% increase than last year. Even though numbe of recruiters also increased by 20% The Highest Package at Chandigarh University Placements 2022 stood at INR 1.7 CPA. Nearly 400 Fortune-500 companies recruit from Chandigarh University, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Arcesium, Adobe, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Philips, Goldman Sachs, Toshiba, and Red Hat. In addition, Chandigarh University has also got highest number of offers in North India by top IT Services MNCs - Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture.
During the final placement drive of 2021, a total of 7412 placement offers were made by participating 757 Multinational Companies.
Chandigarh University has released its interim report of summer internship placement drive. During its summer internship placement drive of the batch 2020-22, the highest internship stipend of INR 1 Lakhs per month was offered.
